That's pretty confusing, no?

Though I'd heard you can find out what your creditworthiness is, I didn't discover how you do that.

IgnacioAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08430658465708697241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2057985352570664629.post-58517923534948736532013-02-16T04:49:16.551-08:002013-02-16T04:49:16.551-08:00Thanks for experimenting John and Ignacio. Howeve...Thanks for experimenting John and Ignacio. However, unlike you I am not surprised about the frozen savings. I actually think many Kenyans would expect it - they are used to exactly the same kind of approach on their SACCO and MF accounts. My view is savings balances are not seen as flows but stocks which you leverage to get a loan along the line of "if you have some of my resources then I am entitled to some of yours". I think what is critical is what that leverage proportion is. If this isn't adequately high then Kenyans will not be interested. Since the algorithm of the combination of savings, airtime and data use is deliberately opaque and people will only learn it through repeatedly trying I think disappointment might indeed set in quickly! Did you try the feature of being able to check your credit worthiness before you applied?
